It was packed with Vaseline gauzc. Sterile dressings were applied. We addressed the left axillary wound; an incision made, pus evacuated, cultures anaerobic, aerobic Gram stain done. This was a smaller abscess. It was irrigated with copious antibiotic saline and necrotic material debrided out sharply and bluntly as dictated for the other abseess with cautery and Allis elamp. We then placed the MatriStem powder, the remainder of the 200 mg, then we placed a 5 x 5 cm burn matrix sutured in place with chromic suture and packed with Vaseline gauze.
